Intro
AFL Great Britain is dedicated to supporting and developing Australian Rules Football within England, Wales and Scotland. The sport has enjoyed organised league play in London since 1990, has seen varsity matches between Oxford and Cambridge Universities for more than 80 years and since 2005 has exploded throughout the rest of the three countries.

Leagues are organised on a geographical basis and largely govern themselves. On this site, you will find contact details for the sport's entities near you, links to other websites which provide valuable information and a host of downloadable resources to support growth and development of the sport.

Whether you are looking to setup a new club, find a team to play for, find out more about the sport or get involved in its growth, AFL Great Britain aim to provide the information, advice and support necessary to help you achieve your goal.

Premiers - all the divisions!
What turned out to be a cracking day of footy on Saturday saw the West London Wildcats and the Wandsworth Demons contest all three Grand Finals. The Demons took the opening 3rds grade, before the Wildcats bounced back to take the Conference and Premiership.

In the Southern division, the Bournemouth Demons played a strong match to overturn the Chippenham Redbacks.

Further North, a resurgent Nottingham Scorpions team beat the Huddersfield Rams to take the Central division flag.

In Wales, the Cardiff Panthers came from behind in the 4th quarter to win a close battle over the Bristol Dockers.

As soon as we have information regarding the Scottish and Northern divisions, we'll get it posted here. More news and scores are available in the News section but also on the AFL London website for that comp.

International Cup Diary
The 2011 International Cup is finished and the Bulldogs have done themselves proud, finishing 7th, in the top half of the tournament for the first time ever. Take a look at the tour diary for more information and photos.

The squad trained hard to earn their places and beat 2 higher ranked teams along the way, losing only to top-5 ranked teams. They're a credit to their clubs and nations and we look forward to the Bulldog's progress into the 2013 European Champs.

Umpires Required!
AFL leagues all over the 3 countries are looking for new umpires for the new 2011 season and beyond.

If you have umpired previously, have played and are looking to umpire or are interested in coming on board, please contact the Umpire Co-ordinator at umpires@aflgb.com.
