Welcome to AFL Great Britain
Intro
AFL England is dedicated to supporting and developing Australian Rules Football within England. The sport has enjoyed organised league play in London since 1990, has seen varsity matches between Oxford and Cambridge Universities for more than 80 years and since 2005 has exploded throughout the rest of the country.

Leagues are organised on a geographical basis and largely govern themselves. On this site, you will find contact details for the sport's entities near you, links to other websites which provide valuable information and a host of downloadable resources to support growth and development of the sport.

Whether you are looking to setup a new club, find a team to play for, find out more about the sport or get involved in its growth, AFL England aim to provide the information, advice and support necessary to help you achieve your goal.

Umpires Required!
AFL leagues all over England are looking for new umpires for the 2013 season and beyond.

If you have umpired previously, have played and are looking to umpire or are interested in coming on board, please contact the Umpire Co-ordinator at umpires@aflengland.org.

An umpires workshop will be held in Reading on Sunday 14th April, starting at 10am and running through to 4pm. The workshop will include theory sessions as well as practical application at an AFL England club pre-season match between Reading and a combined Chippenham/Cardiff team.

If you're interested in getting an introduction into Aussie Rules umpiring, please email umpires@aflengland.org to register your place now.
